Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate installation

Introduction​

In FASTPANEL® you can work with SSL certificates:

  • Install an existing one
  • Install a Let's Encrypt certificate
  • Create a Self-signed Certificate
  • Create a Certificate Signing Request

How to install Let’s Encrypt free SSL certificates​

  1. Open a card of a site you want to install an SSL certificate to. Go to "Certificates"

  2. Click "New certificate" in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. In the opened modal window select "Let’s Encrypt" in the "Type" drop-down menu and enter your Email address in the corresponding field and click "Save" button. Your email address will be used to inform you about the certificate status.

Let’s Encrypt certificate can only be issued for a registered domain forwarded to the IP address of your server

http → https redirect is disabled by default. To enable it go to the "Settings" menu of the site card
