What server OS can be installed?

You can install various OS versions of your choice: CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian.

Is it possible to install Windows on an OpenVZ VPS?

No you can not. It is possible to install only Linux OS. For Windows OS we have a separate offer. Read more here

Can I downgrade a package from VPS-3 to VPS-2?

Yes, OpenVZ virtualization has this capability. You can either upgrade or downgrade your package. VDS KVM virtualization does not have this capability.

Can I pay for VPS by the day?

Yes, you can pay for the service by days after the first paid month.
