CHMOD for files and folders

Three ways to set permissions:


File Manager/cPanel

Log in to your cPanel, "File Manager"

Highlight the necessary files or folders; use the SHIFT/CTRL to highlight a group shift.

Click "Permissions".

Specify the necessary permissions and click "Change Permissions".

P.S. Right permissions: for files - 644, for folders – 755



Total Commander

Make the FTP connection to your hosting account, using "Total Commander".
Highlight the necessary files or folders, use the SHIFT/CTRL keys to highlight a group.

File / Properties part select from the menu.

Specify the necessary permissions.

FileZilla

Run "FileZilla"; make the FTP connection to your hosting account.
Highlight the necessary files or folders; use the SHIFT/CTRL keys to highlight a group.

Right-click on the highlighted files and select "File Permissions"

Specify the necessary permissions.
